Polaris RZR Timeline By Generation

2008–2010+

  • Common models: RZR 800, RZR S 800
  • Common seating: 2-seat
  • Engine family: 760cc twin
2011–2013+

  • Common models: RZR XP 900, RZR 4 900
  • Common seating: 2-seat and 4-seat
  • Engine family: 875cc twin
2014–2017+

  • Common models: RZR XP 1000, RZR XP 4 1000
  • Common seating: 2-seat and 4-seat

  • Common seating: 2-seat and 4-seat
  • Engine families: 999cc
2017–Current

  • Common models: Turbo S, Pro XP, Pro XP 4
  • Common seating: 2-seat and 4-seat
  • Engine family: 925cc turbo
2022–Present

  • Common models: Turbo R, Turbo R 4, Pro R, Pro R 4
  • Common seating: 2-seat and 4-seat
  • Engine families: 1997cc Pro R

2-Seater vs 4-Seater RZR Models

2-Seat RZR

Usually lighter and shorter wheelbase. Popular for trail riding, dunes, tight terrain, and aggressive solo/dual riding.

4-Seat RZR / XP 4

Longer wheelbase with room for passengers. Many engine families are shared with 2-seat models, but fitment details can still vary by year and trim.

Always Confirm Fitment

Before ordering, confirm year, model, and trim. UEW can help match the correct replacement engine, crankshaft, or part needed.
